2011 Highlights!!!!

Good Day!!! It has been a while since the last update of the blog. Rest Assured that all will be updated to the best of my ability. For this year, our swimmers competed in different competitions. Major events include the National Youth Selections, Long and Short Course G-League Swim Series, the Ateneo Aquathlon and many more. Through these events, the swimmers have been fostering good swimming skills as well as a strong camaraderie betweeen them. The latest SEA GAMES that was staged in Indonesia proved to be a moment to remember as this event inspired some of our swimmers to perform better in reaching their athletic dreams. In this year, much more swimmers have been added to the team roster and it is to our hope that the Buccaneers Family may grow in number and may the bond stay trong. The Christmas Party ended with a blast to put an end to the year. Also, selected swimmers made their efforts to perform a dance number and unlike last year, it was a big improvement. Overall, this year was unlike any other, full of competitions and good swims from our dearest swimmers. Until the next blog update.......

G-League Swim Meet Series 4.0

For the last time, the G-League long course swim meet series held its last leg this past saturday and sunday, June 12-13, 2010 on Celebrity Sports Club, Diliman Quezon City. It remained a jam-packed event with over 400 swimmers competing for the qualifying times to the 2010 National Long Course championships. Swimmers where once again tested for their capability, their strength, and sportsmanship towards this sport.I would like to congratulate all the winners and all swimmers, especially QCSC Buccaneers Swimers, who had qualified for the national championships. For those who didn't qualify, this event will remain a testimony to their lives that we should not give up to any problems in life. Mabuhay ang Pinoy Swimmer!!! God Bless

2010 Summer Learn to Swim Graduation

It is the time of the year again where the hottest days are felt and nothing better to cool off than to have a swim. We at QCSC are proud to have a summer learn-to-swim lessons. Lessons are instructed by current and former coaches as well as lifeguards of the said venue. Time flies when we are having fun. Yesterday, May 29 2010, the CAL group held its first ever competion among their graduates. Many swimmers as well as parents are overwhelmed whith the event. We are also surprised for their unending effort in swimming and those parents who unendingly support thei child/children to make this event possible. It is some sort of an experience. We hoped that they may continue to nurture their God-given talents to glorify His name. We salute you all Graduates of the 2010 Learn-to-Swim Program. Mabuhay! God Bless!!!

G-League NCR Leg 1

Pinoy Champion Swimmer. The G-League Swim Series has again began. With a headstart of the Long Course Swimming Championships, many swimmers were tested, for the first time in their careers, to swim 800 freestyle for women and 1500 freestyle for men. It was an exhausting swim but made a new mark in history. It was held in Celebrity Sports Club, in a 50-meter 8-lane pool. UP Mania!!!

These past Saturday had been great. Soccer at UP with Celebrity Rapids Swimmers. Lots of Fun for Swimmers. Good News! Its still on. UP Soccer is still on-going. Guys, skins!!!

2009 Buccaneers Christmas Party

Its the season again. December 11, 2009, QCSC swim team grand Christmas Party executed on poolside. One of the grandest ever. Many new swimmers had joined the Buccaneer Family. And for dinner, a grand lechon. To God always be the Glory forevermore. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. 圣诞快乐。 新年快乐。 身体健康！！！

G-League 3.0

We had G-League 3.0 at Ateneo De Manila University Loyola Schools Covered Court Swimming Pool. It was fun and tiring. Lamig ng tubig sa pool. Tagal naghintay sa 400 IM and 200 Fly. Anyway Congrats to all of us who made extra effort for this competition. Manalo man o matalo bida pa rin ang QCSC Buccaneers! Praise the Lord.

Tri Meet

Last Saturday; October 18, 2008 we had our annual Tri Meet at the Celebrity Sports Plaza, Old Balara Road , Dilman , Quezon City. Our foes are Celebrity Rapids and Ayala Harpoons. It was a prepation for Mantas and Fil-Chi Meet. All the times have improved so far.

Finally, we are back to regular training after almost a month of exhaustion from numerous board meetings and everything. Lane lines have been officially attached. 1st Chairman's Cup (Celebrity Sports Club)

Congratulations to our QCSC Buccaneers Swimming Team for an outstanding performance at the 1st Chairman's Cup Swimming Championships held last June 14-15 at Celebrity Sports Club. Congratulations to all the swimmers who did their best to improve their PBTs (personal best times). Congratulations to all the medalist and top finishers. Congratulations also to our MVP awardees Timothy Vincent Yap and Winnona Claire Yu for winning the MVP awards in 15-16 yrs old boys and 13-14 yrs old girls respectively. Congratulations to our co-CAL swimming teams the Ayala Harpoons (Champions) and the Celebrity Rapids (1st Runner-up).
